Conjugal Visits, trailer visits, families visits.....

No I don't get one, sheesh I wish...Only six states have these California, Connecticut, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York and Washington

This is a petition started to bring them back for all states.

I think not only would it help the families stay together, it would help with divorce rates, issue children have about being separated from parents (I know my two year old would love to spend the night with daddy).

It would also help cut down on prisoner violence, the guys would have much more to lose. There would be less tension, it may even cut down on rapes, and disease transmission, since the guys would be less likely to engage in unsafe behaviors.

Heres a couple of sites on conjugal visits as well

Ginger, I'm thrilled to have come across your blog! I can't even believe I just put a "!" considering how I feel. I found out today that my husband's case "isn't looking good," per his attorney and we are absolutely terrified. We were told last November that he's be getting out any day basically and now it doesn't look that way. I was wondering how this is going to work, as I only get to see him currently every few months because he's 700 miles away. I was relieved to see Washington state offers conjugal visits (its where I live and hopefully he'll be transferring) once a month for a weekend. I don't know how much time he'll serve, but I can see this making it so much easier to support him and stay together through this ordeal. I'm sorry its not available to you :(. Angie

I'm glad you like the blog, I don't update it as often as I'd like to. I'm hope things work out and your husband doesn't have to serve to long.
