Just an update visits time and all that jazz

So I have been a busy little bee and all before my first cup of coffee, thank god for elmo I can get stuff done.

SO I received a response back from the records dept. The courts hadn't sent all his different sentences in (I really hope this is the last one I'm not wanting to go into 2016), and that he should be receiving something from his counsler on that.

I had to talk to GTL..called at 8:15, waited 2 minutes, note to self when having to call satan it is best to do so in the AM, no call backs or hold time. Talked to a lovely guy named Mark, no problems (like I had before) payment went stright through. And since he was transferred the calls are even cheaper now for us 6.92 instead of 8.50.

Then I called KMT and the ladies that I talked to there were extremly nice to me and explained the visit and the building he was in. I can go see him saturday and sunday both from 8:30-3, but it will more than likely be just saturday. Its only an 1.5 hour drive from home so there is no need to stay overnight anywhere...I don't think I'll get lost, I suck at directions so who knows. So me and Lily will be making our first ever trip to a prison (no I'm not thrilled with the idea of bringing my daughter up this way, but you gotta do what you gotta do) this saturday and I will get to see my love for the first time in almost 6 months. Exctied and nervous.

Still waiting....on calls.

I know know why people complain about GTL so much for...Its really quite stupid that we have to go through all this just to get a 20 minute call. He called wednesday night to have my number apporved, push 1 for all 4 opitons got a nice little voice telling me that his calls were approved.
We didn't even get one call in before I had to call the devil I mean GTL to get the number verified. Lucklily the woman who called me back, Wanda was really nice. They coudln't locate my number anywhere. I told them twice it had just been installed and comcast, is a new phone provider around here and they use differnet local numbers. SHe told me I had to fax a bill in with the number. When I explained that  I hadn't talked to my husbnad since november and it would be well over  a month beore I get a bill with the phone number (if the phone number even shows up I don't know b/c its my cable/phone and  computer all in one) but I had a service order with my name, address and new phone number as well as the company I have the phone from. And was given a fax number and told to wait  3-5 buisness days.
I faxed it in saturday morning and will try to wait the 5 days, but I'll be lucky to wait past wednesday.

On the plus side we get a visit on April 9th. 47 days to our first contact visit

Got a phone line finally....

So I finally got a phone it took Comcast two days to install it and get it running (apparetnly there were problems with the apartment as well as my account (don't know how I've paid the bill up and on time every month)... BUt yes I finally have a phone, and should be getting a phone call from my husband sometime soon, or atleast been puton his call list then I get to fight with GTL...

The number is local, was waiting two weeks on a local number, but apparently they don't use 679 numbers for they use 345 hopefully that won't be problem.

But since there was finally some good news on this ride, I thought I would share.
